It is certainly more pronounced in the midrange world than in other areas. The interesting thing I find is that people who wouldn't dream of having their staff code in VB version 4 will often insist that their AS/400 programmers continue on in RPGII or III - and they had to pay to upgrade to the latest VB! AS/400 users get the RPGIV compiler along with the RPGIII.
