Jim,

Where do you read the SflCtl record? If it is after testing  function key 
F20, that will be the problem I think.

I think you should combine all the reads in one place, like:

>   write SflHead (From Str002FN)
>   write SflCtrl (From Str002FN)
>   write Str002FM
>   read Str002FM
     read SflCtl
     ....
     test input
