Tia, The only way I've ever got that to work is to do a CPYFRMQRYF command directly after the OPNQRYF, then do a RTVMBRD NBRCURRCD(&numrecs) (where &numrecs is a type(*dec) len(10, 0)) to the file you've copied to. If there is a better way, I'd love to know as this hurts performance.
