Thanks to all of you folks who were very generous to pass on vital information. I ended up writing my own programs to do the job. Just to keep you guys posted

         . I overrode the WRKOUTQ commands output to a spool file. I then copied it out to txt file using cpysplf. From this point on , i had all the information i needed to perform a copy spool file on any of the spool files listed by the wrkoutq command. Then by parsing this info in a program and using an FTP routine i am now sending the files where ever requested.

What about using *LAST in the SPLNBR parm of the CPYSPLF command?

using the QUSLSPL API...
