Query analyzer

Hello!

 

I want to write a CL/RPGLE program that can do this:

- Find all query's in a library (can do this)

- analyse these queries(can do this)

- Find all queries where there is an override on "report column definitions" (i.e. a file fields gets another length and/or decimal positions). (can NOT do this one). I don't know how to retrieve this information.

   

I can do this manually, with option 6 on wrkqry (print) an then read the spool, but i was wondering if there is a more automated way for doing this (I have to search multiple libraries with 'a lot' of queries.)

 

i don't have any experience with API, but this is probably the way to solve my problem.
