Quickest way to do this yourself would be to cpysplf to a text file, then
run a ftp to the server; the other details
will depend on your set-up (how the boxes are connected, how the apps are
written, how you plan to implement)

Say you have two or three reports, change the ovrprtf to hold, do the
cpysplf, chgsplfa to release it, ftp the file
over; but if you have many apps, write a cl server program to pass the job
name, spool file name and the rest...
but you still have to keep the spool files on hold to get a copy of them...

Subject: Spool Tool Help

Hi all,
I am trying to get the spooled reports to a SERVER's (Other than
AS/400)hard disk. I also still want these spools to print on their
designated output queue. And obviously , these processes ought to be
automated processes. I would like to know if there are any tools available
(For the AS/400) to do this or what will be the best approach if it were to
custom developed.

I appreciate any and all Expert Opinion's from the experts themselves.

TIA
Balaji
