Friends, We were batting this around on the RPG400 list and I thought I'd better cross post this on the midrange-l list. Look at this sample display file DDS: R RCD1 2 5'http://www.dekko.com' 4 5'mailto:rob@dekko.com' This will put two simple literals on your screen. One will say http://www.dekko.com and the other will say mailto:rob@dekko.com In your Client Access 5250 session if you double click on the top one, then your PC's favorite browser will pop up and you will automatically go to that web site. In your Client Access 5250 session if you double click on the bottom one, then your PC's favorite email package will pop up and you will have an email created, with the To: address filled out and just waiting for you to fill in the body. After some testing here, we have determined that you need to be on a pretty recent release of Client Access Express in order to get the mailto working. The http is not quite as picky. You can turn hot spots on in your 5250 session and these will appear as buttons. Now, your users can use browser based help, and so on. The only problem is figuring out how to make those http links small enough to not suck up your whole screen.
