Don't hate them, they gave us so much work and increased our wages because
of Y2K -
about the time the next batch rolls around, those programmers will need work
and then
they can demand the pay they want too.   Keep the mentallity that the
manufacturing
companies have (build it cheaper so that people have to buy it again in 2
years instead
of the way things where built 30 years ago when a durable good-"was")  :)

We each do our best with the tools, talents, and time frames we are each
given -

I personally don't worry about how my software will handle the date window.
My
ego doesn't permit me to believe that the software will still be in use.

And if it is, and if I'm still alive, maybe I can earn a few bucks to
supplement
