And if anyone with a Domino R5 client has a question as to how to set up these filters, just have them contact me on the DOMINO400 list and I'll be happy to help them set this up. A real life saver when you have to wade through your email upon return from a conference or vacation. Rob Berendt ================== Remember the Cole! Then, when I have a Midrange-L Question, I just create a new filter based on the Subject of my email and have those copied back to my Inbox folder. This way, I can see the responses to my question without having to weed through all the emails on that list. It also serves me to keep all these messages so that I can scan for answers to questions locally (scanning my Midrange-L mail folder) instead of going out to the archives. I realize that this depends on how much hard drive space one has. Just my 2 cents. Some of us really have to work through the day and I'm doing well to keep up with reading the RPG mailing list. I'm not saying this to open up a door for all questions, but is should hurt if someone has an off topic question and if someone could help then email them directly. (just my humble opinion) after all this is the place were people come for help. Thanks Troy I think the problem here was that the original question was not 'How do I do a traceroute using RPG?' rather than the less specific 'How do I do a traceroute on the AS/400?'. It seemed unlikely that the person asking the question was looking for an RPG solution. I think a lot of people sign up to list but not Midrange-l due to the high volume of traffic on the latter. Then they cannot be bothered to sign up to Midrange-l just to ask one question so ask it here in hope of a quick answer.
