This went by me the first time.  If the array is being passed by reference
(dynamic call or no VALUE keyword in the prototype/pi) it should work
regardless since the actual data isn't being moved.  I'm not sure what the
maximum size of an array element can be.  The max number of elements is 32k
- 1.
