Be very careful of using *null _instead_ of %parms.  If the program will
_ever_ be called with less the full number of defined parameters, %parms
needs to be checked _before_ checking *null.  As was discussed in a previous
thread, valid pointers can be hanging around from previous calls, so just
checking for an address not equal to *null does not guarantee that the
parameter was passed on this call.

Rob, in the case of your command processing program this was not an issue as
all parameters are always passed to CPPs, *null as needed.
