Brad's book is called "eRPG" and can be found on Amazon.com.  It is a great book for learning how to write web pages using RPG as the CGI language.  And it will also serve your purposes for getting some good practical ILE examples.

 

If you need any examples of ILE code or ideas of where to use it don't hesitate to ask this list.

Hi,

    Thanks to all the answers to my question!  It took me a while to realize RPG4 & ILE aren't really interchangeable terms, and you can use RPG4 without using ILE.  All new programs are written in RPG4 but it's taking me a bit to get used to lower case and long field names. They just don't look right, but they work really well.

 

      I have the 'Who knew you could do that with RPG IV' book, but had just used it to look up a question. I've started reading it, and its a great book. (I love the title!)  I do have a couple of questions.

    What is the name of Brad Stone's eRPG book?

    How can I find out more about the AS400 Experts Journal? Sounds like a great resource.

 

    This list is great. I found out about triggers (which work great for something I'm working on), and helped me to get them to work. We are kind of isolated without many local educational resources or even many RPG shops. Its great to hear about new ideas and solutions. I've got to admit I'm kind of in awe of some of the people who post here.
