sql question

is there(i'm sure there is- i just don't know it) an sql equivelant for a
SETLL .  
i have a program that loads a page at a time subfile, that i'm trying to
modify to us    embedded SQL to load the SUBFILE.  The program has SETLL
scattered through out and i'm not sure what i would replace these with using
SQL.
