Hi again! Thanks for the replies. This works. But. :) My collegue says that there is a keyword - or creation parameter - which solves this problem without converting the data muself. Unfortunately, he cannot recall what this keyword is, and I can't find anything in the doc. Now my question is: Am I missing something or is my collegue wrong? Thanks for judging :), Andras >From: Chris Bipes <chris.bipes@cross-check.com> >Reply-To: RPG400-L@midrange.com >To: "'RPG400-L@midrange.com'" <RPG400-L@midrange.com> >Subject: RE: How to display a field with invalid data? >Date: Sat, 24 Mar 2001 20:26:59 -0800 > >Create a table of hex character below x'40' and a corresponding table of >characters equal to or above x'40.
