In STRSQL, get the select statement the way you want without the into
clause. Then F13 and choose option 1 to change session attributes. In the
prompt screen put "3" in the "Select output" field, hit enter, and fill in
the other fields to create the kind of file you want.

My boss asked me this, and so far I haven't found an answer. Is it
possible (on an AS/400) to create a new file (table) using SQL from and
existing file (table)? I know it is possible in other environments
