Could you add one new query at the beginning of your application? The purpose of the query would be to write a file with one record containing the date (and any other static information that you might need). This file could be accessed by later queries to get the static information. _______________________ Booth Martin Booth@MartinVT.com http://www.MartinVT.com _______________________ "Joe Montes" <joe_montes@lifecare.to> Sent by: owner-rpg400-l@midrange.com 02/13/2001 02:53 PM Please respond to RPG400-L To: <RPG400-L@midrange.com> cc: Subject: Heading dates on query reports Hello to all, Does anyone know if a solution exists for the following situation. I want to run a query during the night and retain the date prior to midnight (and the date changing). For example, on 01/31/2001 at 11:30pm a batch job query "TEST1" executes. The date on the headings is 01/31/2001. Next, on 02/01/2001 at 12:30am a batch job query "TEST1" executes. The date on the headings must remain 01/31/2001. I have tried using the job date but no luck. I appreciate any assistance.
