I have been looking in the manuals for this particular operation, but I didnot find any. Instead there are print API'S Which converts user space data into a spoolfile. Yes. Check out the Spooled File API manuals. Start at www.as400.ibm.com, take the library link, then AS/400 Manuals. These are somewhat complex APIs. Since you're writing an RPG program, it might be easier for you to simply read the buffer into say, 80 byte sections and print each one via "native" print support.
