One thing that would be very helpful in the manuals would be an appendix that contains a conversion chart showing the data types in each of the languages availble on the 400 that correspond to the data types mentioned in the specific description of the api parms. It would be two pages long at most. I'd even be satisfied if it only was in the intro to apis manual.
