Create the following prototype and field definition.
d system pr 10i 0 extproc('system')
d cmd * value options(*string)
d error s 7 import('_EXCP_MSGID')
and then call with callp like
c callp system('DSPSYSSTS')
c if error <> *blanks
*** error handling here
c endif
When you compile or bind you need to specify binding directory QC2LE. We
have embedded this into a service program for ease of use.
By the way, if you think something has been posted previously try searching
the archive at www.midrange.com , it is usually easier and faster to find a
solution.
