Hi All, Interactive SQL editor displays messages when statements are completed successfully. For example UPDATE statement displays that xxx rows updated in file1 in lib1, DELETE says that xxx rows deleted from file1 in lib1 and so on. I am using embedded SQL in my RPG program and using UPDATE and DELETE statements in that program. For my audit purposes I want to know in the same program that how many rows (records) are updated and deleted by SQL statements in each files. Only single Update statement will update many rows based on WHERE clause and single delete statement will delete many rows in one shot. I do not want to count(*) these records before update and delete statements to avoid extra burden on my system. Any idea would be appreciated. Thanks. Amir System Analyst, SCC, K.S.A.
