RE: Future RPG IV enhancements, you have been selected to vote

Thanks for this, and it gives me the opportunity to raise a question
I've been meaning to.

Why did you guys send the poll invitation out at such a weird time?

I unsubscribed from the RPG and Midrange lists on Friday the 22nd of
December, as I usually do before going on holiday for more than a day or
two (even if my inbox could cope with the volume, I don't think _I_
could).  I came back to work on the 4th of January, and resubsubscribed,
only to find the RPG list up in arms about how many dollars everyone
would spend on what features.

I'm sure I couldn't have been alone in missing the all-important
invitation to vote.  I realise I could have searched the archives for it
myself, but there are many other things to do, too...

It's not a big deal, but it might be worth avoiding that time of year in
future?
