At the end of the FillSflSR subroutine I check the RRN number for the 
subfile.  If it is 0 I write one record with a notation "No Records to 
display".  In that way, the subfile is never empty.

Sometimes.... the subfile would have no data to display.. in that case i
would setoff indicator for subfile display & just show the control 
record..
only..

Reddy,

Are you sure that the subfile you are trying to display contains data?  I
seem to
recall getting a message like this when I tried to display an empty
subfile.
