Would one choice be to create a data area with a specific name? Then, at
last record time you could update the data area with the job number and
any other data of use later on.

I need to get a jobs last run number. The job name will
always be
the same.
I was looking at API QWCRJBST but that returns the status
of a job
but you must pass it
JOB/USER/NUMBER. I want to pass a job name to a API and
get the last
/NUMBER.
