Then, at last record time you could update the data area with the job number and any other data of use later on. _______________________ Booth Martin Booth@MartinVT.com http://www.MartinVT.com _______________________ Bob Buettel <bbuettel@udilink.com> Sent by: owner-rpg400-l@midrange.com 12/21/2000 11:19 AM Please respond to RPG400-L To: "'RPG400-L@midrange.com'" <RPG400-L@midrange.com> cc: Subject: Get the last job number for a job run everyday. I need to get a jobs last run number. The job name will always be the same. I was looking at API QWCRJBST but that returns the status of a job but you must pass it JOB/USER/NUMBER. I want to pass a job name to a API and get the last /NUMBER. ..........................................................thanks Happy Holidays to the list................................................................. +--- | This is the RPG/400 Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to RPG400-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to RPG400-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to RPG400-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
