I have not yet seen any responses to your question. As to IBM supporting Office, fergetaboutit, IBM's dumping it. I believe that there are third party products that help you migrate OfficeVision documents, for example, I'm pretty sure that IBM has an OfficeVision-to-Lotus Notes migration tool. I think I've seen a migration product to Microsoft Word. As far as converting existing RPG apps that call on OV functions, I don't know what's out there. Why not try a search in the MIDRANGE-L & RPG400-L archives? Also, try the AS400network.com and midrangecomputing.com sites. Dan Bale IT - AS/400 Handleman Company 248-362-4400 Ext. 4952 -------------------------- Original Message -------------------------- We have quite a few RPG pgms integrated with Office documents. Our resident expert in this area left the company a few years back. I'm having some problems working with RPG and Office. Can anyone point me to someone who may be able to help? For example, the pgm I'm currently looking at uses the PRTDOC cmd thru QCMDEXC. I know in Office you can type a 9 to looking at the print options, and then use F15 to look at the merge options. I can then use a 1 for Query or a 3 for a database file. But it doesn't show what is currently integrated with the docuement. How do I obtain this information? Where I'm headed at with this: I'm try to set up a folder in our test environment. But when I run my RPG pgms in the test environment, I'm still picking up info from production. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. We know from a previous post IBM is pulling Office off the system in the next release. Do they still provide any support? Are there 3rd party options? Are there any Office-specific mailing lists? Anyone willing to discuss this offline? Thanks again. +--- | This is the RPG/400 Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to RPG400-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to RPG400-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to RPG400-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
