Hi all, I just have these two questions which recently stumped me . . . Question 1 When coding a logical file using dds, one specifies the record format name of the related physical file to gain implicit access to that physical file's fields. I needed to code a substring (part of the key) within the logical but it would not compile because it could not find any of the other key fields (existing in the pf). After including these fields within the dds, it would compile. Is there any way/keyword which would include ALL of the pf's fields other than having to physically type them into the source. ? Question 2 Dds_disc ds 6 DDC1WS 2 DDC2WS 2 DDC3WS 2 DarrDISCWS 1 6a Dim(3) This data structure defines 3 fields which are from a display file. By defining the array like this, the values from the screen are automatically moved into it. For the life of me, I can't figure out how to define this if the same 3 fields were all packed decimals 2-long. Anyone know how to define this ?
