Create a controller and device for your local machine. You have to fake the system into believing that you are communicating with a remote system. I don't have access to our AS400 at this time, but if you need more info, I can help tomorrow. At the moment there are a few DDM files between the two. Because of the deadlines involved, we are considering keeping a DDM link going after we merge, then progressively removing them later when things have settled down. I have looked at DDM, but can't find any way to specify both Local and Remote locations as the same name. The problem is it keeps wanting a REAL remote name or address, and won't accept the local machine's name here when I try to start DDM. Any suggestions? +--- | This is the RPG/400 Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to RPG400-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to RPG400-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to RPG400-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
