Hello,

This is regarding the problem we are facing while printing the
nonspooled data directly from an ILE RPG program:

Printer device gets allocated exclusively by QSPLJOB as soon as the
printer session is started.

scenario:

1.The printer file ABC is created with the following attributes :
Printer Device : XYZ
Spool the data - *NO
3.Printer Device XYZ is started
2. The Program generating this report ABC is executed
3. At the end of the execution, if the report gets generated, then the
output data has to get printed automatically on Device XYZ. But at this
point of time , system issues a error message CPF4128 – Not able to
allocate object XYZ
4. XYZ will be allocated by QSPLJOB.

Please suggest the solution for the same.

Regards
Srini
