Hi Alan,

I haven't looked, but it should be in the archives at midrange.com. The idea
is to set up a 2nd data structure with the same fields as the
multi-occurrence data structure (MODS) but based on a pointer. Then set the
MODS to some occurrence, set the pointer equal to the address of the MODS,
then change the occurrence of the MODS. Now the based data structure points
to the 1st occurrence and the MODS points to the 2nd occurrence. Something
like:

    d MODS ds occurs(5)
    d flda 1a

    d SODS ds based(ptr)
    d fldb 1a

    c 1 occur MODS
    c eval ptr = %addr(MODS)
    c 2 occur MODS

At this point flda is in occurrence 2 of MODS, and fldb is in occurrence 1
of MODS.
