  • Subject: SSL sockets

I've managed to implement AS/400 RPGLE and CLE applications that connect
using the socket APIs but I now I need to know how to use SSL sockets. So
far I've not found anyone who can demonstrate this in useful manner. Since
the topic is closely allied to digital certificates, there appear to be
several permutations depending on encryption and authentication requirements
which make some of the API parameters a diffcult to understand, like
SSL_Init(). I'm looking for stuff like, how to create an SSL server pgm and
how to create an SSL client pgm that contain adequate explanation. Maybe I'm
seeking too much.
Thanks, Peter
