Hi all. I have a subfile question. I have a program that writes records to a subfile. One of the options of the subfile is to delete a record from the subfile. If a user uses this program and deletes all entries of the subfile, the entries are still displayed on the screen. There are no subfile entries, and the subfile display indicator is set not to display the subfile, but the records still appear on the screen. The user can not take any options against these records, and they are not loaded in the subfile. This only occurs when there are records in the subfile and the user deletes all of the records. If all but 1 record are deleted, the subfile only displays the remaining record. I believe this occurs because the records were on the screen and the subfile is not displayed on the screen again because there are no records in the subfile. I believe that the records on the screen are just 'residual' records left over from the previous transaction. I have run into this same situation many times before, but this particular application requires the user to delete all of the records in the subfile more often than not. Does anyone have any ideas on how to correct this situation? Thanks Mike Silvers ================================ Mike Silvers, IBM Certified Expert Hainey Business Systems 8 E.
