The job has the same value as the spool file instead of the QPADEV like yours I
suppose. Everything else
is like you described.

Hmm.. strange.  I'm in the same type of environment, and I edit the source
file, then hit <F15>, type in 2 and press enter and get the source compile
listing without having to specify anything.  The Job Number and Spool Number
default to *LAST.

Where is your setup different?
