Hi Jason,

Write most of the code in RPG III, then use the CVTRPGSRC command to convert
it to RPGLE. Then look at what it did, and insert the RPGLE-only code where
appropriate.

of our programming (past and current development) is RPG/400 so that's what
I'm learning. I'm told that I'm free to use RPG IV... but in addition to
learning everything I still have to get stuff done, and I've been able to do
everything I need so far with what I'm using. The real kicker is that
everytime I need to look something up, all I have is an ILE reference
manual, so I keep finding things that do exactly what I want - and I can't
use them but know exactly what I'm missing ;)
