Hi Mohamed, It is possible to achieve the same within RPG400 or RPG3, by using two API's. 1. call the first API to build an edit mask, you give the API and edit code and the length and precision of the number that is to be "edited", 2. call the second API with the edit mask returned by the first, the value to be edited, and the field to put the result in. I just checked the API names. The first one is QECCVTEC. The second is QECEDT. It is a while since I did this or I would paste some sample code. Not as easy as %editc or %editw, but it does produce the same results!
