There's also a really good book on UIM in general, called Unleash the Power of UIM, by Richard Shaler. I've used it more for UIM help text, but it also has a chapter on list panels, which I assume is what you're doing. I have been working through the Application Display Programming manual, SC41-5715-00 (http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/cgi-bin/bookmgr/BOOKS/QB3AUK00/CCONTENTS). This, combined with the User Interface APIs manual, combined with a _lot_ of trial and error, got me under way. I found that panel groups are intimidating at first sight, but get easier to understand very quickly. One of the nicest aspects is that the UIM handles most of the I/O for you. For me at least, this greatly reduces the amount of debugging of the display code. -- Paul +--- | This is the RPG/400 Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to RPG400-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to RPG400-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to RPG400-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +--- +--- | This is the RPG/400 Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to RPG400-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to RPG400-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to RPG400-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
