That's not a bug, that's a feature!  :-)

You need an H spec like this in your program:

H Debug option(*nodebugio) 

Then debug skips the I/O lines.  I believe this went is with a ptf for v4r3
and was built into v4r4 and v4r5.  I'm on v4r5 on all machines so I can't
double check when they 'fixed it'.

Thanks for all the replies to the array > 500 elements viewing problem I
had.
The    Eval    Array(1..2000)  worked a treat.

Unfortunately I have another question.

I am using debug with an RPG IV program, and stepping through with F10......
when the debugger hits a chain etc, it goes to the F spec and 'reads' the
file causing me to repeatedly hit the F10
to get to the next line.

I'm sure I've seen a way to prevent this but I can't remember how to do it..

your help would be greatly appreciated.
