EVFEVENT

One of our newer employees, (saved from a COBOL shop), noticed the file
EVFEVENT.  This file contains the compile messages from RPG, CL, etc.  Is
this file always created or is there some compile option which creates
this?  Are people utilizing this?
I did a
WRKOBJ *ALL/EVFEVENT
and found quite a few (I have *ALLOBJ).
Common locations are in program object libraries, unless you compiled into
the source library by mistake.
