Richard,

Sometimes it is better to get it done than wait until you no longer need it.  
I would have saved at least 100 hours if this was in place three years ago, 
now my potential savings is probably less than 20 hours.  I have much 
more confidence in the RPG developers than the embedded SQL developers 
and would not use them to estimate the RPG developer's solutions.

I think that it should be architected.  I agree that Toronto can do this but
I want to see it extractable from the EPA-level object, not in the
associated space.  I do understand what that means for timing and review but
it also goes to commitment.  There is nothing temporary about this
requirement - this one is forever.

The results from putting SQL package data in the associated space should
convince almost anyone.
