*************Donning protective gear********************************************************* I like this approach better than qcmdexc or system(), mainly because you could add a parm to the cl that would specify the delay length. To me that would be a lot easier than reformatting the call string every time for different values. I know it just involves concatenating a new string for the delay time, but I'm old, lazy, and absent minded. > -----Original Message----- > From: jpcarr@TREDEGAR.COM [mailto:jpcarr@TREDEGAR.COM] > Sent: Sunday, September 17, 2000 8:25 AM > To: RPG400-L@midrange.com > Subject: Re: how to let my program sleep a while > > > > > Why make it complicated?
