*FCFC should work regardless of how the program generates the spooled
output.  The control characters are used by the spool writer when the output
is sent to the device.  Preserving and restoring the control characters
should produce output identical to the original report.  I have never
observed anything to the contrary.

I like the *FCFC.  Does it work if the programmer didn't use indicator OF?
In other words, does it work every time the report goes past top of form?
