Yes, both CPYFRMPCD and RTVDOC will produce a database file. In both cases, I can see the report data but it is interspersed with hex codes or garbage. I have found that if I use a file with a record length of 94, the data seems to line up and there appears to be header and trailor information as well as a twelve byte field at the beginning of each line. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Craggs, Dave" <dave.craggs@dnb.no> To: <RPG400-L@midrange.com> Sent: Thursday, August 24, 2000 4:37 AM Subject: RE: Image Plus-WAF/400 Question > You don't make it clear - have you tried CPYFRMPCD? > > -----Original Message----- > From: Chris Andrle [mailto:andrle@localnet.com] > Sent: 24 August 2000 03:18 > To: RPG400-L@midrange.com > Subject: Image Plus-WAF/400 Question > > > For several years we've been importing AS/400 spooled files into this > optical jukebox thing that hangs off the AS/400 and now we have a need to > extract the data.
