With Clear, if a field's type is changed from character to numeric or vice
versa, you don't have to hunt down your eval's or z-add's or move's and
change them -- just recompiling the program will use the appropriate value.

Of course, if you do make such a change, you'll undoubtedly have a whole
boatload of other things to worry about too.
