One thing I do when I need to know how to do something like this is I actually run the command from the command line and use F4 and fill in all the prompts. Then, after it is run, I do an F9 to retrieve the command and see what was actually typed in. (I wonder if you want WRKQRY or RUNQRY though?) _______________________ Booth Martin Booth@MartinVT.com http://www.MartinVT.com _______________________ "keshava narasimha" <anandthirta@Hotmail.com> Sent by: owner-rpg400-l@midrange.com 08/18/2000 11:16 PM Please respond to RPG400-L To: RPG400-L@midrange.com cc: Subject: Command Hello all! What are the steps involved in creating user defined CL Commands to execute a Query Object? Eg. If the Query object to be called is QRY001 when a Cl Command CL1(User defined) is typed on the command line ,what are the steps?
