Sounds like the CL pgm and the RPG pgm are running in different activation
groups and the OVRBDF command has been left at the default
OVRSCOPE(*ACTGRPDFN). Ideally, you should change the application so that
both programs are operating in the same AG. However, you can change to
OVRSCOPE(*JOB), and that would also solve your problem.
