Joel,
Perhaps you should try using the remote wtr option built into OS/400.
For example, say you already have an outq on remote SYSTEM2 named
YOURLIB/YOUROUTQ that is attached to a printer.
Create an output queue on SYSTEM1 as the orginating outq that targets an
outq on SYSTEM2.

CRTOUTQ OUTQ(MYLIB/MYOUTQ) RMTSYS(SYSTEM2) RMTPRTQ('YOURLIB/YOUROUTQ')
AUTOSTRWTR(1).

That's all folks. Anything that appears on MYOUTQ on SYSTEM2 will
automatically be sent via SNADS to YOUROUTQ on SYSTEM2, no batteries
required.

Geez, sometimes OS/400 is so cool.

Cheers, Peter

Subject: Sending spoolfiles to diff remote outq

HI All

I am looking for some help in directing user spoolfiles to remote outq based

on job user and program.
I have created a dataq and currently use it to send one user spoolfles to
one printer Ideally I would like to do it for all Users based on a table
entry.

How do I do that?
If anyone has written the code already I would apreciate if you can share it
