Steve,

It goes something like this:

D DataStruct        ds                              based(SpacePtr)
D  field1                                10

C                                 Call      QusPTRus
C                                 parm                        SpaceName
C                                 parm                        SpacePtr

C                                 move   'SomeValue'   Field1

The trick is to use a basing pointer for the data structure definition. This pointer should be the same pointer that the Retrieve Pointer to User Space API gives back. Then all you have to do is chane the values of the fields in the data structure. They will be stored in the user space because they are pointing to the same address.
