We have a file that is being journaled. We need to end the journaling of that file. To end the journaling on that file we need an exclusive lock on the file. The file is maybe available 10 minutes a day where we could get an exclusive lock on it. The problem is that we don't know when the file is available to get the lock on it. Does anyone know of a way that we could solve this problem? Is there an API that we could use to end journaling on a file?
