Title: RE: STRCODE

This is what I've done,....  TCP/IP

Create a jobq, e.g. STRCODE.

Attach the jobq to a subsystem e.g. QPGMR, with Max Active (MAXACT) equal the number of programmers/licenses.

Add TCP/IP Host Table Entries for each programmer' PC via CFGTCP option 10.

Now you're ready go...
On your PC start your Code/400 Server deamon, noting the port number.

Prompt the SBMJOB, Prompt the command STRCODE and press F10 for additional parameters.

Enter the Server Name used in CODE/400.
Enter the Remote location name added in the host table entry.
Enter the Communication type as *TCPIP
Enter the TCP/IP Port number used in CODE/400, default I believe is 4200.

Press enter twice and you should be set....

Ok,  one more time.    How do you get the values to start CODE/400 the
FIRST time(STRCODE).

What do we have to do on the AS/400 side to start the darn thing?

TIA
Dumb as ever
