You neglected to say that you ran other ftp commands before you did the cd /. Because when you do so you are stuck in the qsys.lib system, UNLESS, you execute the following command: quote site namefmt 1 Or you quit ftp and start over. Then you can get into your mynewfolder. By the way, directories under the root directory are not called folders. If I open a ftp session, it defaults me into "QGPL" how do I change directory into "myfewfolder"?
