AFAIK Flex/Edit doesn't since they added TCP/IP support.  I've
actually never tried it on a machine that also didn't have CA.  But I
believe it does not require CA unless you use SNA.

CodeStudio, last I knew, just used FTP to transfer the members so
requires a TCP/IP connection and the FTP server running but no CA.
