        You can get all the information regarding INFDS (and other manuals)
at <http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/pubs/html/as400/online/10eng43.htm>. The
manual that you will want to look at regarding INFDS is the ILE RPG/400
Reference: SC09-2508. You can view/print this manual in either HTML or PDF
format.

if you have any idea of where to find on-line information for file

When a record is deleted it is never really deleted it just has a D in a
status field and then all programs and reports will ignore a record with  a
D in the status field.
